Cat Temper has been making cat themed synth music for a bit but on the new "More Than A Feline" he invited a bunch of vocalists to play in the kitty world and, as a result, has made one of my favorite synth albums ever. Lots of fun. Enough pop hooks to tap your paws to but experimental enough that it's not like anything you've heard. Filled with vocalists bringing their best. I often say that the best "synthwave" artists don't just fit into the genre but redefine it. CT has done that here.

The album starts out mellow... but steadily increases tempo to embrace breaks, industrial, DNB, and much more, before slowing down again to gaze into the abyss. It's not so much a "haunted" house party as it is a frenzied underground rave from the mid-90s, powered by Red Bull, rapidfire beats, raging synthesizers, and maybe even regretful fashion choices.
